This upcoming POPS’s monthly meeting next week is an important one! SFMTA (Muni) is planning major changes to Taraval Street in the next few years and if we don’t voice our thoughts they will proceed with their plans. Some proposed changes are double streetcar length boarding islands, loss of parking spaces on Taraval, left lane will become a streetcar only lane, up to 10 traffic lights on Taraval and elimination of every other stop.
We encourage everyone to attend to share their thoughts of the changes.
