Ninki” means “popular” in Japanese. This restaurant has definitely got the right idea.
A relative newcomer to Taraval Street, this business, with its bright, new, shiny sign and beautiful facade, is a welcome addition to the streetscape.
Sandra Li, the owner, recently got Ninki involved in the first “Tastes of Taraval,” and had some of the highest number of participants for the event. Participants received a 10% discount on their bill and the raffle winner received a $25 gift certificate!
Ninki serves a variety of delicious Japanese fare. They also have student lunch specials and unique menu items — sake clams! Yelp reviewers have given them four out of five stars, and for good reason — take a look at the photos of this food!
