This Saturday, October 19th, join Supervisor Tang and the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition for a spin through the Sunset! This event is designed to teach riders basic urban bicycle riding skills, as well as show Sunset residents the best way to reach the downtown area via bicycle. You will experience the joys of using a bicycle to get around the neighborhood while stopping at local businesses along the way and traversing the best the Sunset has to offer.
Riders can meet at any of the following stops and join the group at any point during the ride. Riders can choose to end their ride in the Sunset or continue with the group to City Hall. People of all abilities will enjoy this ride, especially new riders looking for to try biking in the comfort of a group. Meet at any of the following locations at the designated times. Our group will
pick riders up along the way, and stop at local businesses to meet our fellow cyclists and to pick up any coffee or refreshments.
- 10:00am | Meet at Java Beach,2650 Sloat Blvd. and 45th Ave.
- 10:15am | Meet at Devil’s Teeth Baking Company, 3876 Noriega St. and 46th Ave.
- 10:30am | Meet at Henry’s House of Coffee, 1618 Noriega St. and 24th Ave.
